She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Manning Morris; her parents, Wiley R. Thigpen and Dottie Lee Walker Thigpen; and her siblings, Hildred Thigpen and Bernice Richards.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Delores Morris Johnson; and her cousins, Marsha Mercer Rich of Mt. Vernon and Hannah Claxton Autry of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
