We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2024, at the age of 77, Joseph Killingsworth of Higgston, Georgia, born in Dublin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Lewis Killingsworth and Myrtle Sweat Killingsworth; his son-in-law Jay Morris; and his siblings, Beth Powell, Alton "Doc", John "Jack", Benjamin, Charles and Gene Killingsworth.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon West Killingsworth of Higgston; his children, Nikolaos "Nik" Kodros of Shellman Bluff and Stella K. Morris of Higgston; his grandchildren, Sara Morris (Charlie), Zac Morris of Higgston, Zannis Kodros of Amelia Island, Florida and Lizabelle Kodros of Amelia Island, Florida; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Morris and Jay Morris.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
