He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Jackson; his parents, Jewett Warnell Jackson and Lucille Johnson Jackson; and his siblings, Jewett Jackson, Charles Jackson, Joe Frances Jackson Craven and George "Bucky" Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jackson of Higgston; his daughters, Charlotte Jackson Pierce (Elroy) of Anderson and Debra Jackson Craft of Uvalda; and his grandchildren, Jeffery Pierce (Sandy), Michael Pierce, Brent Craft (Sarah), Mackinzie Steele (Adam), Taylor Jackson, Coty Jackson and Cheyenne Jackson. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
