She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Nichols and Mary Nichols (Wilson); her stepdaughter Tammy Garrett; and her siblings, June Parker, Henry and Rudy Nichols.
She is survived by: her husband Rex Garrett; her daughter Kimberly Mitchell of Hiawassee; her stepson Anthony Garrett of Hiawassee; her granddaughter Kendra Bryant of Hiawassee; and her siblings, Wayne Nichols of Mt Holly, Tommy Nichols of Murphy, Ray Nichols of Hayesville, Jerry Nichols of Hayesville, Allen Nichols of Hayesville and Eulene Vassey of Alexis.
