He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev. Harley Clay Hunter and Geneva Burch Hunter of Hiawassee; his brother Stanley Hunter; his brother-in-law Randall Mathis; his grandparents, Melvin, Ruth Hunter, Fred and Martha Burch; his wife Evelyn Beaver Hunter of Hiawassee; his sister Belinda Mathis of Young Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Jenny Hunter of Ellijay, Douglas (Jennifer Beaver), Vernon (Barbara Beaver), Junior Beaver of Hiawassee and Kenneth Beaver of Augusta.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512).
