We bid farewell to Lilly Ann Barrett (Hiawassee, Georgia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 2, 2025 at the age of 80. Lilly Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, TJ Shook and Ruby Shook (McGaha); her son Michael Alan Barrett; and her siblings, Kenneth Shook, Tommy Shook (Pudge), Roger Shook and Dimple Segert.
She is survived by: her son Jamey; her daughter-in-law Kim Barrett; her daughter Cynthia; her son-in-law Keith Ussery; her daughter Cherri Lynn Garrett; her brother Tony; her sister-in-law Cathy Shook; her sisters, Faye Daniels and Dinah; her brother-in-law Kennon Sealbolt; and her grandchildren, Christopher James Ballard, Carina Ann (Eric Mercer), Ryan (Jennifer Ballard), R. Nancy Adriann (Greg LaShomb), Michaela Naomi Bandy, David Ray Garrett, II, Dakota Jamison (Chelsea Barrett), Bon Darringer (Gabi Barrett), Marcus (Brittany McGill) and Morgyn (Beau Ballard). She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Banister-Cooper Funeral Home (678 N Main St, Hiawassee, GA 30546). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
