He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Palmer and Blanche Palmer (Hogsed); his daughter ShawnRhea Palmer; and his sisters, Carolyn Palmer and Kathryn Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Nicholson Palmer; his foster daughters, Debbie Phillips (David) and Connie Farist (Scott); his son Shane Gore (Stephanie); his close friend Dennis Williams; and his grandchildren, Eli, Zoe Phillips, Brandon Walls (Tara), Crystal Carter, Joshua and Kaden Gore.
Eddie had many connections with other larger departments that were willing to donate to smaller departments.
