He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Griswell and Evie Griswell (Snyder); his former wife Pansy Griswell; his daughter Corine Adams; his stepson David Youngblood; and his brother Larry Griswell.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Griswell (Mathis); his daughter Susie Toskes; his stepson Chris Youngblood; his sister Margrette Caldwell; and his grandchildren, Sarah Kerrigan, Crystal Mitchell, Dylan Youngblood, Ashley Youngblood and Alex Youngblood. He is also survived by great- grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Marshall Memorial Baptist Church (190 Imperial Mill Rd, Eatonton, GA 31024). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
