He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Janette Harrison and Clifford Harrell Clinton; his brother Eddie Harrell Clinton; and his great grandchild Myles Christopher Godfrey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nicholson Clinton; and his children, Christopher, Kristina, Rachel, Jonathan, Rebekah, Joshua and Isaac. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Banister-Cooper Funeral Home (678 N Main St, Hiawassee, GA 30546). The lying in state was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (50 Marvin Cabe Ln, Hayesville, NC 28904). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
