He is survived by: his spouse Vernice Jane Brown Shelton of Hiawassee; his daughters, Rachel Shelton (Rick Harrison) of Hayesville and Patricia (Kenny Thompson); his granddaughter Pamela Ann O'Neil of Franklin, NC.; and his great grandchild Jamie Burton of Hayesville. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
