She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kent and Carrie Delora Reedy (Howard); her brother George Kent Ready Jr.; her father-in-law John Presley; and her sister-in-law Martha Jane Sargent (Atkins).
She is survived by: her husband Boyd Atkins; her children, John Boyd Atkins Jr and Brenda Kay Atkins; her grandchildren, Carly Elizabeth Binkley (Adam), Lindsay Myers Atkins, Boyd Atkins Shiver and Sydney Myers Shiver; and her sisters, Rosemary Mahlkuch (Reedy) and Linda McCord McNiemeyer (Reedy).
The family gratefully accepts flowers, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Christ Independent Methodist Church, 4078 Silver Lake Drive, Palatka, Florida, 32177, designated for the youth group fund.
