Arnold Rex Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024, at the age of 89, Arnold Rex Long of Hiawassee, Georgia, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Henry Eugene Long and Ruby Lee Baggett Long; and his siblings, Eleanor Long, Lorene Norsworthy, Mavis Parker, Ruby Jean Wheeler, Bruce, Jack and Bobby Long.
He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Potter Long; his children, Laurey Faye Dean (Scott) of Waynesville, NC and Arnold Mark Long (Sigrid); his grandchildren, Lea, Julia and Anna of Vienna; and his brother Billy Scott Long of Heflin, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
