He is survived by: his father James Gowdy of Augusta; his daughter Crystal Gowdy of Hephzibah; his siblings, Elaine Reynolds (James) of North Augusta, SC, Ricky Axel Gowdy (Mekala) of Las Vegas, NV and Randy Bryant Gowdy (Billye) of Atlanta; and his grandson Kingston Harris of Hephzibah. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
