He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma McGill and Nathaniel Curns. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McGill; his children, Rita McGill, Malika McGill, Tasha Murray, Kaila McGill, Corderra Lee, Angela Greenidge (Winston), Kenneth Murray and Michael Murray; his sister Annie Ingram (Darryl); and his goddaughter Starlesha Tucker. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
