She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Ulysees Sr. Barber and Johnniemae Barber; and her siblings, Johnnielee Barber, Milo Barber and Lillie B. Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Cason (Freddie), Jasper Overstreet (Shunia Flono) and Barrett Overstreet (Ericka); her siblings, Bishop Ulysses Barber Jr. (Nedina), Willis Barber and Wilhelmina Bryant; her grandchildren, Tiffany Butler, Kamarrow Schnitzspan (Benjamin), Darius Overstreet, Kamea Lopes (Aramis), Frevel Cason, Derrick Brown (Chequetta), Turi Cason and Tamara Cason; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Townsend, Emanuel Butler, Nolan Schnitzspan, Naccai Schnitzspan and Kaliyah Lopes. She is also survived by nieces. nephews, cousins and friends.
