With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Legrand Kabler Stewart of Hephzibah, Georgia, born in Rustburg, Virginia, who passed away on August 14, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Warren W. Stewart; and her father Fred Kabler. She is survived by: her children, Warren Weir Stewart, Jr. of Hephzibah, Georgia and Nancy Stewart Emory (Phil) of Tybee Island, Georgia; her grandchildren, Phillip Ryan Emory (Melanie) of Macon and Laurie Emory Burrell (Trey) of Central; her great grandchildren, Allie Grace Emory, Bella Faith Emory of Macon and Hank Edwin Burrell of Central; and her daughters, Rachel Carwile Kabler and Virginia.
The Rev. John Jenkins will officiate.Memorials may be made to the Choir Fund at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church and to the Augusta Humane Society.
