She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Fanning; her siblings, Rebecca Barnes McBeath, Garwood Barnes (Marilyn) and Robert Barnes; and her parents, Lewis Barnes and Irene Barnes (Irick).
She is survived by: her brothers, Russell Barnes (Trina) and Richard Barnes (Marie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the FairHaven Funeral Home (3507 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30909). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens (4501 Wrightsboro Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813).
