She was predeceased by: her husband John Fielding; her parents, Lloyd Mincey and Leola Mincey; her siblings, Ruby Winfrey and Lloyd Mincey Sr.; and her sons, Donnie Butler, Jo'ahani Lavi Butler, Fredrick M. Kelly Jr. and Justus Amir Hymon.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Drayton, Jerron Butler (Renee), Rodney Butler (Wanda) and James Butler; and her sister Dorothy Patterson (Smith). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
