We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2024, at the age of 36, John Paul Cates (Hephzibah, Georgia), born in Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Doug, Nancy Cates, Bill and Margaret Owens. He is survived by: his wife Morgan Bell Cates; his children, Saylor Cates and Hayes Cates; his parents, Paul Cates (Julie) and Sandra Owens; and his siblings, Maggie Nehlsen, Baxter Cates, Taylor Cates and Mills Cates. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paul Cates for the Cates Children's College Fund, 509 Pine Needle Rd, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
