He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe D. Corley and Myrtle Rosier Smoldt; his son Eric Johnson Corley; and his brothers, Wesley, Sammy Hollis, Dennis and Joe Corley.
He is survived by: his sons, Jamie Corley (Gwen) and Ted Hill (Shannon); his siblings, Bobby Corley (JoAnne), Doug Corley (Joan), Phyleas Dixon, Linda Shaw and Barbara Smith; and his close friend Vera P. Corley. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
