He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Thurmond (Patrick), Melinda Stone (Alexander), George Turner III and Christopher Turner; his siblings, Judy Mims (Richard), Rosa T. Williams, Cora Helen Ferrell, Linda Nichols (Angelo), Robert Turner, Rickey Turner Sr. (Patricia) and Martha Pinkston (Lawrence); the mother of his children Naomi Turner; his grandchildren, Adrienne Dunbar, Armony Thurmond, Deonna Turner, Jasmine Turner, Tez, Starlings, Arion James (Earl) and Shaqur Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Titan Turner, Ace Turner and Paige Turner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
