He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett O. Hines and Flossie Marie Riffle Hines; his sons-in-law, Ken Swisher and Jimmy Kirk; and his great grandchild Gabriel Wray.
He is survived by: his wife Emogene Bickel Hines; and his children, Ceresa Kirk of Hephzibah, GA, Ernie Hines of Painesville, OH and Regina Swisher of Keysville, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
