He was predeceased by: his father Frank Grubbs; and his grandmother Elease D. Lord. He is survived by: his son Chance Lord; his mother Gwendolyn Striggles (Darren Davis); his sister Kimberly Williams (Ashley); his aunts and uncles, Anderson Grubbs, Tommy Lord (Geradine), J. L. Lord Jr., Marie Withers (Charles) and Janice Callaway (Mike); his nephew Zion Williams; his niece Jasmyne Williams; and his friend Edwina Brooks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
