He is survived by: his wife Cherry Smith; his children, Santina Hyman of Sandersville, Rachel Castro of Sandersville, Candace Blue of Sandersville, Christopher Newsome of Sandersville and Michael Glabas of Sandersville; and his brothers, Eddie Smith of Thomson, Richard Smith of Thomson and Howard Smith of Thomson. He is also survived by his 5 great-grandchildren.
