Babbie is survived by: husband Bernard Edwards; children, Nathaniel Norman (Fontel), Charles Daggett, Patrick Norman, Kitty Upshaw and Georgette Upshaw; and grandchildren, Nathaniel Norman III, Patrick Upshaw, Khalilah Anderson, Leigh Upshaw and Jamari Smith. Babbie is also survived by two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
