He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emery Elmer Smith and Vergie Inez Koon Smith; his wife Helen Everett; his former wife Betty Payne Harrison; his siblings, Marguerite Pye of Sylvania, GA, Edwin Smith of Vidalia, GA and Nell Mock of Sylvania; his children, Everett Smith (Allyson) of Statesboro, GA and Andrea Cleveland (Derek) of Toccoa, GA.; and his grandchildren, Victoria Robbins (Tyler), Maggie Smith of Statesboro, GA, Ryan Cleveland (Gabby) of Colbert, GA and Ben Cleveland (Kaitlyn) of Baltimore, MD. He was also cherished by married in 2014, as well as her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
