It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Conley Cannon of Helen, Georgia, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Harry and Mattie Lou Cowart Conley, Sr.; her son Kenneth Cannon Jr.; and her siblings, Charles Conley, Leonard Conley, Jr., Frankie Conley and Joyce Conley Harrell.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kenny Wayne Cannon (Amy) of Cobbtown and Canda Arnold of Claxton; her siblings, Shirley Crosby of Glennville, Billy Conley (Betsy) of Glennville, Betty Sue Scarboro of Claxton, Kathy Cason of Glennville, Ellis Conley (Cheryl) of Claxton and Pansy Smith (Lee) of Bellville; and her great grandchildren, Allie Cannon, Kaedan and Kaylee Arnold.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glennville Funeral Home (403 W Barnard St, Glennville, GA 30427). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
