He was predeceased by: his son Tommy Adkins; and his stepson Dan Neary. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Adkins of Helen; his sister Judith Kirkpatrick of Maryland; his daughter Madeline Augustine; his son-in-law Steve Augustine of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Barbara Hollis of Sautee Nacoochee, James Neary of Cleveland and Allen Hope of Sautee Nacoochee; his grandson Steven Augustine of Donnie Augustine; and his great grandchild Dillon Augustine.
