With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Winton McDaniel of Helen, Georgia, who passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Clark McDaniel; his daughter Jane McDaniel Evans; his son-in-law Luke Homer Evans; his grandchildren, Meagan Reid Evans, Morgan Evans Lowe (Cameron) and David Alexander Evans (LuAnna); and his great grandchild Alexander Callaway Evans.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charles' memory to The Upson Historical Society marked for the Thomaston-Upson Fire Department Museum at P.O. Box 363 Thomaston, Georgia 30286.
