He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Brown and Ina Brown; his siblings, John Willis Brown, Sherman Neil Brown and Margaret Hiott; and his parents-in-law, Mae Brown, Calvin Hill, Neal, Doris Johnson, Billy Johnson, Lillian Scarborough, Kay Scarborough and Johnny Dobson.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Karen), Barry (Pam) and Kyle (Sandra); his grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Jake (Sunny), Andy (Kayla), Jesse, Amy and Emily (Cole); his great grandchildren, Sadie Ray, Luke and Carlton; his wife Helen Brown; his sisters, Nita Hill of Elberton, GA and Vicky Johnson of Elberton, GA; and his parents-in-law, Betty Brown, Steve Johnson, Thomas, Melanie Scarborough, Fan Johnson, Bobbie Dobson and Jimmy Scarborough.
