He is survived by: his wife Elaine Echols; his son Eddie; his daughter-in-law Lisa Echols of Helen, GA; his daughter Sharon Priest of Cleveland, TN; his stepdaughter Angel Langston of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Darren Echols (Candace), Drew Echols (Caitlin), Daniel Echols, Megan Echols, Morgan Echols, Dillon Echols, Kelland Priest (Kendall), Brittany Priest and Lyric Langston; and his great grandchildren, Elliott and Emory Echols.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Helen Presbyterian Church (8895 N Main St, Helen, GA 30545). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crestwood Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
