He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ogden; his children, Michael Wright (Elizabeth), Gina Tabor (Wayne) and Greg Jackson (Judy); his siblings, Betty Moore, Jewell Allen, Josie Williams, Jerome Wright (Aretha), Joe Terry Wright (Shirley) and James Wright; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Ogden, Evelyn Ogden, Vivian Lewis, Dr. Lanell Ogden, Moses Ogden (Ida Mae) and Wallace Jones; his grandchildren, Branon Wyatt, Robert Clay Wright, Brett Tabor, Gabby Jackson, Olivia Jackson and Ryan Jones; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Summer, Brylee, Kash, Robert Lorenzo, Celeste and Khyson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and sorrowing friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the King Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Hazlehurst (151 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (332 Graham Zoar Rd, Baxley, GA 31513).
