He is survived by: his son Doug; his daughter-in-law Mary McNeal of Hazlehurst; his siblings, Johnny McNeal (JoAnn) of Hazlehurst and Wilma McNeal Clark (Ray) of Acworth, GA; his grandchildren, Matthew McNeal (Chasity) of Statesboro, Daniel McNeal (Kristen) of Lumber City and Melanie McNeal Varnadore (Mark) of Baxley; and his great grandchildren, Cooper McNeal, Jaxson McNeal, Ryleigh Varnadore, Gracie McNeal and Addilyn Varnadore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
