He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Wanda Gail Lewis; his wife Evelyn Bryant Lewis of Hazlehurst; his son Vernon Terry Lewis Jr. (Sandy) of Texas; and his grandson Terry Lewis of Texas. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
