It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Selph Wood (Hazlehurst, Georgia), who passed away on January 23, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Wood; her grandsons, Tyler Carter and Billy Lee Maddox; her son-in-law Sam Foskey; and her siblings, Eva Richmond, Maude Bourgoin, Net Hamilton, Grady, Tommy, S. T. and Johnny Selph.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Carter of Hazlehurst, Patricia Foskey of Hazlehurst, Brenda Maddox (Tommy) of Hazlehurst and Marshall Wood (Josie) of Hazlehurst. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
