He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Saralyn Cook Sears of Hazlehurst; his daughter Ashley Morris; his son-in-law John Morris of Hazlehurst; his brother Virgil Hinson (Dottie) of Darien; and his grandchildren, Robert E. Sears III (Trey) of Valdosta, Hayley L. Sears of Valdosta, Jonathan L. Morris Jr. (Johnny) of Hazlehurst, Gracie Anne Morris of Hazlehurst and Dani Lynn Sears of Hazlehurst. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
