It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Elton (Hazlehurst, Georgia), who passed away on March 18, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Richard Clark Byrer; and his siblings, Ruby Jean Elton Stokes, William Ollis Elton and Cecil Clarence Elton. He is survived by: his wife Ada Collins Elton of Hazlehurst; his children, Margaret Elton McKinney (David) of Evans, Nancy Elton Nix (Wayne) of Richmond Hill, Gina Elton Morris (Jimmy) of Hazlehurst, Dorothy Elton Byrer of Phoenix City and Thomas Lee Elton (Wanda) of Cleveland; and his brother John Kelly Elton (Saralynn) of Albany. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and multitude of nieces and nephews.
