He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon O. Dawson and Cloteel Carver Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Dawson; his daughter Christie D. Marchant (Britt); his granddaughter Madison M Carroll (Rhett) of Hazlehurst; and his sister Rhonda D. Bennett (John) of Alma.
