He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Wooten and Evelyn Wooten; and his brother Donald Wooten. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Conner Wooten; his stepdaughters, Angie Fussell Varnadoe and Kathy Fussell Brinkely; his grandchildren, Zac Newham, Blakelee Merritt (Grant), Courtney Knowles (Clayton), Grant Brinkley and Layla Brinkley; and his siblings, Thomas Wooten (Dorothy), Olin Wooten (Miriam) and Winona Hartung. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
