He is survived by: his son James Owings (Brittany) of Hazlehurst; his significant other Brenda Brown of Hazlehurst; his siblings, Johnny Owings of Hazlehurst, Raymond Wheeler of Baxley, Carolyn Courson of Hazlehurst and Sharon Smith (Nathan) of Statesboro; and his grandchildren, McKenna Gomez, Kaylee Gomez and Ryleigh Woodard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
