She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Charles Robert Gaither; her husband James C. Carter of Hazlehurst; her daughter Sonya Charlene Miller of Hazlehurst; her stepdaughters, Sheila Smith of Lumber City, Paula Williams of Hazlehurst, Michelle Reynolds of Hazlehurst and Charline Holton of Hazlehurst; and her sisters, Karen Jones of Hazlehurst, Lisa Foskey of Hazlehurst, Linda Oneil of Hazlehurst, Norie Yawn of Hazlehurst and Delbra Yawn of Hazlehurst. She was also cherished by Thirteen Grandchildren, Twelve Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
