She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Earl Colson and Bernice Fern Livingston Colson; her husband Richard Marrell Chaney; her siblings, Frances Butler, Carolyn Rentz and John Earl Colson; and her grandsons, Samuel Chaney and Paul Chaney.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Marrell Chaney, Jr. (Ashley) of Axson, GA, Meghan Chaney Parris (Michael) of Boiling Springs, SC, Jonathan Chaney of Donalsonville, GA, Candace Chaney of Gaffney, SC and Ashley Chaney of Hazlehurst, GA; and her grandchildren, Abigail Chaney, Courtney Pollock, Aaron Chaney and Jeremi Chaney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
