He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Harriet Susan Thigpen Skowron; his grandparents, Harry Edgar and Lottie Brown Thigpen; his sister Mona June Thigpen of Hazlehurst; his niece Charlotte Marie Rogers of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his cousins, Deloras McGaha, Pat McGaha Rubke, Trish Rubke, Charles Thigpen and Amber Crawford; his siblings, Andrew Lawrence Thigpen (Darlene) of Milledgeville, Mary Ann Anderson (Roy) of Hazlehurst and Alexander "A. J." Greenlee (S. Navy); his niece Katie Anna Thigpen of Tifton; his nephews, Drew of Denver and Cal Rogers (Rebecca); his great-nephew Owen of Box Elder; and his close friends, Angel Sizemore of Adairsville and Matt Drake of Hinesville. He was also cherished by several aunts and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home (3 E Odum St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
