Owings, Jr. of Hazlehurst; his grandchildren, Rayleigh Pierce and Aidan Owings; his mother Vanell Buckins Owings of Hazlehurst; and his siblings, Lanell McKiney, Carolyn Courson of Hazlehurst, Sharon Smith of Statesboro, Johnny Owings of Hazlehurst, David Owings of Hazlehurst, Ralph Owings of Hazlehurst and Raymond Wheeler of Baxley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
