With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael G. Rea (Hazlehurst, Georgia), who passed away on March 17, 2020 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patty Elizabeth Courson Rea; and his sister Mary Nell Bennett. He is survived by: his son Allen M. Rea (Kara); his grandchildren, Katie of Vidalia, Hosanna of Vidalia, Isabella of Vidalia and Isaiah of Vidalia; and his sisters, Betty "Peanut" Batten of Hazlehurst and Sherry Preciado (Gary) of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Higgston Baptist Church, 512 James St., Ailey, GA 30410.
