He was predeceased by: his wife Lillie Maude Brantley Newham; his parents, Jenkins Newham and Fleda Nichols Newham; and his sister Merle Inman. He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Cheryl Purvis (Jay) of Roddy and Wanda Sebald (Merle) of Eatonton; his grandson Jon Chester (Rebecca) of Pennsylvania; his great grandchildren, Renee Joines, James of Atlanta, Macy Wambolt, Daryl of Alberto Canada, Jase Chester and Jamie of Roddy; and his great great grandchildren, Max Wambolt, Casandra Cheryl Chester and Cameron Chester. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family members.
