He is survived by: his wife Rose Cooper of Hazlehurst; his children, Sally Roussell of Hazlehurst, Valerie Ussery (Todd) of Hazlehurst, Marti Cooper (Corey Hall) of Hazlehurst and Jeremy Cooper (Jamie) of Hubert, NC; his siblings, Dale Ellis (Darren) of Hazlehurst, Sherry Berryhill (Jeff) of McRae, Mitchell Humphrey (Resa) of Hazlehurst and Charles Humphrey of Hazlehurst; his father-in-law A. B. Dykes of Blackshear; and his grandchildren, Abraham Reynolds, Chase Ussery, Kyleigh-Grace Ussery, Zack Ussery, Sarah Cooper, Mason Cooper, Hayden Cooper, Hadleigh Cooper, Cade Hall and Caroline Hall.
