Leonides Marquez Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonides Marquez of Hazlehurst, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leonides Marquez to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacio Marquez and Merced Rubio; her husband Rogaciano Marquez Fonseca; and her siblings, Valdomero Marquez and Rosa Marquez.

She is survived by: her children, Margarito Marquez, Crescencio Marquez, Bartolo Marquez, Paolo Marquez, Ma Guadalupe Marquez, Maria Eufemia Marquez and Lucia Marquez; and her siblings, Alberto Marquez, Jesusitas Marquez and Adelaida Marquez. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (259 Baxley Hwy, Hazlehurst, GA 31539).
