We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2024, at the age of 70, Lanell McKinney of Hazlehurst, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Owings and Vanell Buckins Owings; her son Earnest McKinney Jr.; and her siblings, Nancy Dykes, David Owings, Mike Owings and Harry Owings.
She is survived by: her husband Earnest McKinney of Hazlehurst; her daughter Sonya; her son-in-law Bryan Livingston of Lumber City; her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Destiny McKinney of Hazlehurst; her siblings, Johnny Owings of Hazlehurst, Ralph Owings of Hazlehurst, Carolyn Courson of Hazlehurst and Sharon Smith (Nathan) of Statesboro; her grandchildren, Lindsay Towne (Cole), Noah Livingston, Gracie Livingston, Kira McKinney, Elena McKinney and Lincoln McKinney; and her great grandchildren, Jack and Camilla Towne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home (3 E Odum St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
