It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy McLendon Myers of Hazlehurst, Georgia, born in Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Lou Ellen Beasley McCoy; her brother Kenneth Warren McCoy; and her brother-in-law Ricky Odom. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Michael McLendon (Tommie) of Vidalia and Kasey Brooke McLendon of Vidalia; her grandchildren, Brooklyn Autumn McLendon of Hazlehurst, Lendon Kyler Chance of Hazlehurst, Kaiden Cross Chance of Hazlehurst and Kasen Kane McLendon of Hazlehurst; her father Cecil Warren McCoy; and her siblings, Michael Warren McCoy, Sr., Russell Allan McCoy and Vicky Ann Odom of Vidalia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
